The partnership with Fundacion Jersey in the Ecuadorian capital Quito coincides with the announcement that the next Bedell Group-sponsored cycle challenge in aid of Jersey Hospice Care will be to the South American country.

Talking about the twinning, Hospice chairman Dr Gari Purcell-Jones said that the Mont Cochon-based charity was looking forward to providing its partner with as much help and support as it could.

‘The partnership with the Ecuadorian hospice, which has such a strong Jersey link, gives the Bedell trip an added dimension and makes it even more worthwhile,’ he said.
