Ogier has joined Keypoint, an accounting and advisory services firm in Bahrain, to form Two Seas Trust.

The new business will offer personal and corporate trust services under Bahraini trust law to companies and high net worth individuals in the Middle East. Although trusts are a widely used mode of wealth management in western countries, they are a relatively new phenomenon in the Middle East.

Bahrain is one of the first countries to enact its own trust law in response to increasing interest in personal wealth planning in the area. Keypoint managing director Wajdi Al Jallad said that his company was ‘very proud to have joined forces with Ogier’.
