The bank was announced as the Jersey Childcare Trust’s Family Friendly Employer of the Year at a breakfast last week. More than 50 companies had been nominated for the award by their employees. But with policies including job share, homeworking, part-time and term-time leave and adoption, maternity and paternity leave, RBSI (who were the runners-up at last year’s awards) walked away with the title.

RBSI human resources director Steve Scott said: ‘I am delighted that RBSI have been acknowledged by staff as employers who provide a flexible, family-friendly approach to employees. We recognise that there is no one standard flexible working policy that will suit every individual, and as a result we have developed a comprehensive package of flexible working options to meet a diverse range of needs. RBSI are extremely proud to be presented with this award and are honoured that we has been nominated by our staff for our flexible working practices.’
