A welcome visit from a familiar Royal
Friday 31st October 2008, 3:42PM GMT.
THE Princess Royal had coffee and an informal chat yesterday morning with volunteers who help to make the annual poppy appeal in the Island such a big success.
Princess Anne also visited the home of the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society in Trinity, the Magistrate’s Court and the Gervaise Le Gros Centre at St Aubin, which is a satellite clinic of Family Nursing and Home Care.
The Princess also visited Durrell on her seven-hour visit to Jersey. The Queen’s only daughter is patron of the Durrell Wildlife Trust, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year.
