Jersey RFC ‘due a decent win’

0591172_cropped.jpgJERSEY RFC take on third-placed Luton tomorrow in a clash that coach Ben Harvey sees as a defining moment for some of his players.

‘So far we’ve played against the top teams and, for the sake of a few unforced errors, we’ve paid the price,’ he said. ‘We’re due a decent win and I know that some of our senior players are becoming angry off the pitch, because of the results.

‘Hopefully, their anger will spill out onto the pitch in a positive way. We’re more than good enough to hold our own in this division. And although I know very little about Luton, I’d expect us to win the game on Saturday. We’re good enough; and we’ve also got a crop of very good young players coming through.’

Among that ‘crop’ is teenager Mark Livesey, who comes back into the 1st team on the right wing. Kick-off is at 2.30 pm.
