Madeira are the champions

THE inaugural JFA International Football Tournament has been won by Madeira.
They beat the Jersey team 2-0 at Springfield yesterday, after both sides had beaten Island Games champions Gibraltar in previous games.
The tournament was organised by the Jersey Football Association to provide more competition for the Jersey side – it was their first competitive tournament since the Muratti in May – and to raise the profile of Island football
