A member of the Jersey Landsbanki Action Group Committee is to meet Deputy Lyndon Trott on Monday. Group secretary Eleanor Monaghan said that people were being asked to put forward ideas for questions to be raised at next week’s meeting in Guernsey.

UK Landsbanki investors are getting all their money back, but Channel Islanders and other non-UK investeors have had only 30 per cent of their money returned and are fighting for the remainder to be given back.

Meanwhile, the group is calling on any Jersey-based investors in Landsbanki Guernsey who have not yet been in contact to get in touch. The group said it was concerned that it had not heard from everyone and that some people may not know a group had been established to try to recover their funds from the bank.
