Chartered Institute of Marketing awards

STYLE magazine Gallery has won the Marketing Excellence and Best Brand awards for 2008 for strategic marketing and brand expansion.

The awards were presented on Friday at the Chartered Institute of Marketing awards ceremony and gala dinner at the Hotel de France which was attended by around 600 of the Island’s marketing and creative professionals.

The awards, which aim to recognise marketing expertise, were hosted and presented by ‘Big Howard, Little Howard’ – a virtual comedy act featuring Howard Read and his computer-animated partner, Little Howard.

As part of the Durrell theme for the evening, the hotel’s Great Hall was transformed into a rainforest and dancers dressed as leopards, lions and zebras wowed the audience. The full results are published in today’s Jersey Evening Post.
