Election result: St Helier No 1
Wednesday 26th November 2008, 10:08PM GMT.
There was more success for the Jersey Democratic Alliance in St Helier No 1, where party chairman Trevor Pitman took one of three seats as a newcomer to the States.
Deputy Paul Le Claire and former JDA member Deputy Judy Martin kept their seats.
Deputy Le Claire polled 634 votes to Deputy Martin’s 601 and Mr Pitman’s 487 in a field of seven candidates.
