THANK you to the Privileges and Procedures Committee for publishing the manifestos of the candidates.
Thank you also for not editing them! It was illuminating to see the apostrophes dotted around like currants in a fruit cake. Some of the spelling also left a lot to be desired. One person used ‘maid’ for ‘made’.
As Private Eye would say: ‘Shurely some mistake’!
