50% in a year: That’s the landline increase

JUST like Helen and Martin Balston (JEP, 20 November), we are subscribers to the JT2500 landline service.

From January we are being moved to their Coreline. There is no choice, it seems, for customers like ourselves of 24 years, two years more than the Balstons.

It is actually a 50% increase in one year, come December, because it also went up in June by 8%. Is there any other business that has increased its prices for some customers by 50% in one year out there?

It looks as if Father Christmas will have to bring us some mobiles in the end.
