If you want to play soldiers, join the army

I DO not approve of planning permission being given for playing war games in Trinity (JEP, 19 November).
If people want to play games with weapons (ie replica guns), they should join the armed forces. I did and am glad of it. It would not do the unruly youth of this Island any harm and would teach them how to behave themselves.
Even a short period of one year would teach them a lesson and make men (or women) out of them.
Christopher Pace should know better. I was taught never to point a gun at anyone — loaded or unloaded, real or replica.
