Boyle aims high as pro career gets under way
Saturday 29th November 2008, 9:59AM GMT.
JERSEYMAN Jack Boyle was happy with his first 90 minutes for Southampton Reserves this week though disappointed that his side did not win.
The team had a ‘goal’ disallowed in the closing minute leaving them with a 2-2 draw against Queen’s Park Rangers in the totesport.com Combination.
Boyle, who has a six-month contract, said: ‘It’s the quickest game I’ve ever played in and I really enjoyed it. It was good and hard work.
‘You take a touch and sometimes two touches and before you know it there’s someone on your back trying to get the ball. You have to think quickly as well and I felt I did okay.
