New funding plan for Tourism

A REVOLUTIONARY move to fund Jersey’s tourism industry with both private and public money is one step closer to becoming a reality.
The Council of Ministers have given their backing to a proposal to turn Jersey Tourism into a private-public partnership next year. Under the scheme, the private sector would share costs with the States but would have more say in how Jersey is marketed.

What a waste of money.
Don’t you realise yet that you are at least 20 years too late!!!!!
Most of the hotels have now been changed into flats, there’s no form of family entertainment at all on the Island and if the weather is rubbish- as it has been this year then you can’t even take the children to the beach.
My advice would be to stay put and save your money as the cost of just getting here is ridiculous.
