Damien Noble completed his BTEC National Certificate in construction through Highlands College this year while working full time for AC Mauger Construction. He already holds a BSc Science and hopes to enrol on the BSc honours construction management course next year.

‘I am delighted to be singled out for this award. It means a great deal that my hard work has been recognised,’ said Mr Noble. ‘Undertaking a qualification in addition to performing my day-to-day role has been made a lot easier thanks to the support of AC Mauger.’

Mr Noble, who is now training to be a site manager, joined AC Mauger in 2003 and progressed through the ranks to become assistant site foreman in 2007 – a position that the company created especially for him to recognise his responsibility on site.
