They all took part in Movember, an annual event during November to raise cash for research into prostate cancer. Colin Pereira, who works as a graphic artist at the JEP, said that the Beeches boys had been influenced by the classic 70s’ Tom Selleck look.

‘I got a great response at work, but my wife hated it,’ said Colin (33). ‘She is glad that it is off. Having a moustache doesn’t half make you feel dirty. The worst part is having a fizzy drink, like a lemonade or coke, because it makes it all sticky. I think it is the first and last time that I do that.’

He added: ‘We have raised about £1,500 and are still collecting money.’
