The £553,000 winning ticket — 599031 — was drawn last night after more than a million tickets were sold in Jersey alone. No one has yet come forward publicly to claim the win, but if the top prize has been shared between 20, each member of the syndicate stands to get £27,500 each.
Also drawn were a £25,000 prize, a £5,000 prize and 40 prizes of £500.

Local charities made £348,616 out of the lottery this year out of the 2007 draw, but with ticket sales up 18% in Jersey next year’s total is likely to be bigger.

The winning tickets were:
1st prize of £553,000: Ticket 599031.
2nd prize of £25,000: Ticket 1027889.
3rd prize of £5,000: Ticket 1449740.
