The 15-year-olds will compete for Great Britain at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Salinas, Ecuador, in March. Both are CI team surfers and, having recently returned from the Euro Junior Surf Championships in Morocco, are two of four Brits to have made the cut.

Les Quennevais student Elms, who is also doing the British pro U16 tour next year, and De La Salle pupil Chapman, the current CI champion, were asked to attend three training camps run by the British Surfing Association, and to submit recent contest results.
