JERSEY and Convent netball stalwart Linda Andrews has been selected to be part of a specialist coaching team who will deliver an élite training workshop to 50 of the UK’s top players.
Andrews, who heads the PricewaterhouseCooper School of Excellence programme, coaching some of the Island’s most talented junior players, is helping in the running of a three-day talent regional workshop at Bath University this weekend.
It is an invitation-only event for the top 50 girls in the south and south-west regions and intends to prepare them for the regional trials next month.
Jersey players Lisa Luce, Laura Harris and Lucy Crossman have also been selected to take part.
