Walkovers Cricket Club will be attempting to play four games of cricket in four different Channel Islands in just one day. The team will be making their attempt on Saturday 27 June, and playing the games in Twenty20 format.

Their plan is to start at 7 am in Alderney, having stayed there overnight. They will then fly to Guernsey for their second match. In order to save time they will then be travelling to Sark and Jersey on a rigid inflatable boat for the remaining two matches.

Walkovers have also registered for a Guinness world record attempt for the challenge, and have made it through to the second stage of the application process. Speaking about the event, the president of the club, John Patterson, said: ‘The idea is to raise both awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis, something that our friend and team-mate Kevin English suffers from.’
