AIB Tigers swimmers made another big splash at the Specsavers CI Championships in Guernsey at the weekend.
Competing for the third weekend in success, Tigers’ party of 54 claimed 16 championship records and 16 championship titles while Katy Glendening took best girl overall following her time in the 800 metre freestyle which was a great achievement as the tender age of 13.
Collectively Tigers swimmers gained over 150 Hampshire and 90 Southern Counties qualifying times while three swimmers bettered National times. They also recorded 68 wins, 81 second places and 53 thirds while 34 juniors finished in the top ten of the BAGCAT’s system.
