Outrage as Health cuts psychology services

00615285_cropped.jpgTHERE is outrage as the Island’s most vulnerable adults and children become the first victims of Health cutbacks.

Autism Jersey say that promises and guarantees to fund Jersey’s psychology services by the States have been broken – shattering the lives and hopes of people with disabilities, their families and victims of abuse.

The charity have accused the States of neglecting and abandoning the vulnerable in an already under-resourced and underfunded service.

Executive director Philip Le Claire (pictured) was responding to the news by Health Minister Jim Perchard that funding for Jersey’s psychology services was to be withdrawn.
