Team manager Hugh Raymond says he knows the games will be held on a Mediterranean island, but he doesn’t yet know which one.

Plans for the Jersey squad to travel to the Italian island of Elba unravelled in December after funding for a swimming pool on the island, which is off the coast of Tuscany, was withdrawn by Tuscan authorities.

It was believed that Sardinia would take over host duties, although they have now, too, declined.
Raymond said: ‘We know it will be in the Mediterranean, but we just don’t know where!’
