Lucky day for Nadia

FRIDAY the 13th will go down as one of the luckiest days in Nadia Reid’s memory.

For just days after giving birth to her first daughter, Nadia won the £5,000 star prize in the JEP’s More for Your Money campaign competition.

She was picked from nearly 2,000 entrants after correctly answering that the JEP was first published in 1890 and after successfully collecting all 12 tokens from the paper over the last two weeks.

Nadia (28), who lives with her husband Marc in Bath Street, said: ‘I just couldn’t believe it when I was told I had won. My mum was there at the time and both of us started crying.’

The JEP should run more of these types of competitions
