Canavan and Kilmartin pot century breaks in league

mono-0530969_cropped.jpgTWO century breaks were registered in the Channel Blind Individual League on Monday.

Channel Islands champion Aaron Canavan made a 114 break in a 5-0 win against Tony Le Poidevin; the break coming to an end when he missed a long yellow with a possible 141 on.

Ray Kilmartin struck the other, a fine effort of 102 in a 3-2 win against Guy Heys. These wins by Canavan and Kilmartin keep them first and second respectively in the Individual League with Canavan six points ahead of his nearest rival.

Steve Le Louarn’s 55 break was the highest of the season in Division II. It came in Services 8-0 win against Tower A’s Darren Malzard with the break ending when he failed to get position on the yellow.
