SO Paula Thelwell, in her JEP column of 19 February, believes that we should ditch the ‘banksters’ for Bergerac (left).
I presume that her comments were made only in jest as, despite the credit crunch, the ‘overpromoted barrow boys’ inject hundreds of millions of pounds into the Jersey economy year in, year out.
By way of contrast, Bergerac’s return would generate diddly squat.
