Battle of the Bands

FOUR local bands have been selected to play at this year’s Jersey Live festival.

Brave Yesterday, Black Stats, The Dirty Aces and Marvel will be playing on the main stage at this summer’s two-day festival.

The Jersey Live Battle of the Bands contest took place at Bar Rock on Easter Sunday, with a total of 12 local bands battling it out for one of the prestigious places.

And at the end of the event, organisers announced that the standard had been so high that the eight unsuccessful bands would also have the chance to play at the festival on a new third stage.

They are: The Exchange, Laurel Canyon, the Centeniers, the Porcupine Effect, Banquet, Off Limits, the Speedways and the Empty 7.
