Youths create mayhem again

DSC_5672SIXTEEN teenagers were arrested last night as youngsters brought more Easter holiday mayhem to the streets of St Helier.

Three boys, two aged 14 and one of 15, and four girls aged between 13 and 15, were still in custody at police headquarters this morning.

Nine others — three boys and six girls aged between 12 and 16 — have been released pending further inquiries.

States police today said that the catalogue of crime included eight youngsters being arrested for illegally entering a hotel on the outskirts of town at about 1.30 am and causing a disturbance.
