Rest challenge the Best in build-up to netball Uptons

THE champions of the three Deutsche Bank Winter Netball leagues will have a point to prove when they take on the best of the rest in their respective divisions on Tuesday.

And the ties will set the three teams up nicely for the forthcoming Uptons against Guernsey’s champions at home on 26 April.

Division I winners Convent A, particularly, will be out to prove their worth and retain their unbeaten record this season when they take on the best of the rest of Division I, while Division II winners, St Brelade B, and Division III winners, Accies C – who are also unbeaten this season – will also take on the best from their divisions.

Jersey Netball Association president Jackie Nelson, who is also in charge of selecting the Rest for Division I, said that it should be regarded as a huge honour to be chosen as the ‘best of the rest’.
