It was the netball underdogs who reigned supreme last night, with Island champions Convent A the only divisional winners to record a win against a ‘Best of the Rest’ select.

The annual warm-up for this weekend’s Uptons, the three matches at FB Fields featured the winners of each of the three Deutsche Bank Winter Netball League divisions facing best of the rest selected from that division.

And while Division I champions Convent A maintained their unbeaten record with a 47-38 win, for Division II winners St Brelade B, and Division III champions Accies A – who were before last night also unbeaten this season – the Rest proved too tough a challenge.

In the Division I match, which rounded off the evening’s entertainment, Convent’s tried and tested team took the honours after a well fought match which resulted in a 14-11 win for Convent.
