Business angels wanted

THE States are looking for ‘angels’ to provide expertise and financial backing to fledgling Island businesses.
Economic Development’s Jersey Enterprise office wants to create a network which will help new and growing firms to get access to funding.
They are inviting expressions of interest from all sectors, including financial services.
Andrew Sugden, deputy chief executive of Economic Development (pictured), said that the aim was to encourage entrepreneurs, both in terms of mentoring, advice and business analysis and in bringing together private investors and businesses.
