Convent A lead Island’s Upton bid tomorrow

JERSEY will be looking to repeat last year’s clean sweep with wins in all three of this year’s netball Uptons this weekend.

Division I champions Convent A will particularly be looking to record a win against the Sarnians to complete their unbeaten record this season.

They take on Nerine A in the top match on Sunday at FB Fields at 2 pm, while Division II champions St Brelade B take on Nerine E at 12 pm, and Division III winners Accies C take on Nerine H at 10.30 am.

Convent were the only divisional winners of the Deutsche Bank Winter Netball League to win their match against the Best of the Rest of their division earlier this week, so the team will be full of confidence going into the weekend, according to coach Linda Andrews.
