Ten jobs to go at Flying Brands

UP to 25 jobs are likely to be axed at St Lawrence direct mail firm Flying Brands.
Chief executive Stephen Cook said that the company needed to cut 15% of its workforce, with a saving of £3 million.
Flying Brands, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, employs 65 people in Jersey and another 100 at offices in Chelmsford and Folkestone.
Ten jobs are expected to go in Jersey and 15 in the UK. The Jersey operation at Retreat Farm in St Lawrence is the despatch centre for Flying Flowers and also produces plug plants for mail order supply to the UK.
