Island set-up backs major movie

A JERSEY investment structure has funded a new film, at a time when movie goers are on

Fifty Dead Men Walking, which was premièred in London last month, was funded through the Horizon Media Fund launched in 2007.
Investors from Jersey, Monaco and London met at the pre-release screening.
The film, which is due for general release later this year, stars Ben Kingsley and Jim Sturgess and is adapted from the autobiography of Martin McGartland, who was an informant within the Provisional IRA.
