Holmes out to turn tables on Dingle

The largest class of the day in Sunday’s Bouley Bay hill climb, with 17 entries, is the highly competitive 500 cc bike class where Oliver Holmes will be looking for revenge over Bruce Dingle who beat him on Easter Monday in a time of 44.20.

However, Dingle looks to be on form after his recent off Island successes, and he will be looking to lower the overall class record if he can.

Lee Le Feuvre will also have a say in the results as he was only four one hundredths of a second away from Holmes’ time on Easter Monday, and Guernsey’s Simon Cohu will also be one to watch out for.

There is a full list of entries for the L C Pallot and Sons/ Sealey Tools Liberation Day event. Held on Sunday, so as not to interfere with the Liberation Day celebrations at the Water’s Edge Hotel , the date change also means that Guernsey competitors can compete in both Guernsey on the Saturday and Jersey on the Sunday.

Practice starts at 10 am with racing commencing at around 11 am.
