ISLAND businesses are reaping rewards after attending this spring’s Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

The show attracted 33,000 visitors and seven businesses were represented on the Jersey stand, which was organised through partnership with Jersey Enterprise.

The aim was to draw attention to the many outdoor activities that the Island has to offer and highlight its great potential as a holiday destination for walkers, birdwatchers, adventure sports enthusiasts and anyone else who enjoys outdoor life.

The owner of Walking Jersey, Kevin Daly, said: ‘The show was a great opportunity and being in that big networking environment, with all the different stands and companies, led to possible business leads that could help my firm to grow very significantly.’
