Deputies fined by Royal Court
Wednesday 20th May 2009, 6:30PM BST.
Deputy Geoff Southern has been fined £10,000 by the Royal Court for breaking the law relating to election postal voting.
He admitted 20 offences involving assisting elderly or infirm people with filling in postal vote application forms.
Fellow member of the Jersey Democratic Alliance Deputy Shona Pitman was fined £2,000 for two offences. She also pleaded guilty.
