ROB_3369TWELVE Jersey Youth Bowling Club members will be competing in the NAYBC National Ten Pin Bowling Championships in Nottingham this weekend.

Jersey bowlers won two medals at the Championships last year and JYBC president Liz Wall is hoping her fledglings will match or better the efforts of last time.

Wall said: ‘Around 3,000 bowlers take part in the Championship over four weekends and we are playing on the final weekend and we’re hoping to match or better last year’s return.

‘We also came back with Sportsmanship Award and we are hoping for further success there.’
