Town Criterium: Recumbents
Tuesday 26th May 2009, 2:54PM BST.
The recumbents’ race in Sunday’s inaugural Rubis Jersey Town Criterium made for an unusual sight but was as competitive as the rest.
The event was won by Adrian Setter, with Jersey’s Keith Davis an impressive fourth.
Results will be published in the Jersey Evening Post later this week.

The 11th Great Garden Bird Watch took place over the weekend, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February. JEP readers were asked to get on board to help monitor bird life in the Island.
Woohoo, fame at last!
Big thanks to Keith Davis for organising a smashing weekend of recumbent racing on Jersey…

Perhaps they should have recumbent racing “on” Sark rather than “on” Jersey.
There’s less risk of riding over the edge “in” Jersey!
Besides, what are the criteria for holding a criterium?
