THREE Islanders have been made MBEs in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

Brian Curtis has been recognised for his voluntary service to people in the Island who are in financial difficulties.

Rosemary Coote’s work for disadvantaged children in Romania has been marked with her being made an MBE.

Paul du Feu has been a swimming coach for over 35 years, and it is that dedication and contribution to the community that has led to him being made an MBE.
