Herbert to face Germany

JERSEY hockey player Beckie Herbert has been named in the England squad that will face Germany in Russelheim this weekend.
The 22-year-old is part of the 18-strong squad that will play in two matches on Saturday and Sunday in what will be England’s last competitive fixtures ahead of the prestigious Women’s Champions Trophy in Sydney at the end of the month.
Herbert, who gained her first cap for England in 2003, now has 45 caps and three England goals to her name.
