Think twice, try local am-dram production

From M Ison.
I READ the article in the Jersey Evening Post recently requesting that we support local shops and produce.

Having been taken to the Opera House on Saturday night by my husband to see Kiss Me Kate (which I had never heard of and knew nothing about), I was disheartened and angry that not enough local people were supporting the show.

Indeed the show is excellent for a local production. All the characters played their part with gusto and enthusiasm.

The singers had excellent voices and the mixture of songs was exceedingly entertaining.
The dancers also gave their all with some exciting moves.

The ticket prices are reasonable and I feel that more people should support the show. All the entertainers have taken a lot of time and trouble to learn the routines. Many weeks of rehearsal have gone into the show and it is definitely worth seeing.

Please support the Opera House.
