JERSEY’S footballers won both their matches today with the men going top of their group after Ross Crick’s first-half goal was enough to help beat Rhodes 1-0.
The Island’s women were a goal up inside three minutes against Greenland and despite conceding a penalty kick they bounced back to win for the first time in the tournament, 3-1 against Greenland with captain Jodie Botterill scoring twice and Lara Couvert once.
