LUANA Gouveia is the JEP Spring Babe of 2009.

The daughter of Jaena and Odette Gouveia received the highest number of votes from JEP readers in this year’s competition, run in association with Steve Wellum Photography.
Luana was 13 months old at the time of the picture.

The competition was open to youngsters up to the age of 24 months. A grand total of 193 bonny babes were entered by parents and their pictures were published in the June issue of the JEP HomeLife supplement. Readers were then invited to vote for the most appealing picture. More than 1,800 votes were received.

The runners-up in the competition were 18-month-old Poppy-Anne Elcock, daughter of Andrea and Matt Elcock, and six-month-old Jasmine Saunders, daughter of Catherine and Dean Saunders, who also have an older daughter, Kimberley.
