La Haule Manor ranked Island’s top hotel

A JERSEY hotelier says he is delighted that his establishment has been ranked number one on the online TripAdvisor listings.

Mick Cushion, who runs the La Haule Manor at St Aubin with his wife, Agnes, took on the hotel in 2002 and since then has carried out extensive refurbishment.

The TripAdvisor site publishes reviews submitted by travellers and also operates a membership scheme for hotel owners, advising them how to use the site for promotion.

Mr Cushion said that despite the economic downturn he was overwhelmingly positive about tourism in Jersey.
