A chord in the park

Islanders enjoy Rock in the Park.
JERSEY bands rocked the Howard Davis Park for eight hours yesterday in front of a 4,000-strong crowd.
Bands including Beerkats, Marvel, Black Stats, the Gorey Inbreds, Eclipse and Banquet played at Rock in the Park, which was organised by Island musician Frank O’Neil.
The Foogie Brothers opened the festival after winning the slot in a competition earlier this month.
In addition to the music, children under 12 took part in an air guitar competition, with the winner taking home an electric guitar donated by East Coast Music.
