Stabbed – in broad daylight
Monday 24th August 2009, 3:00PM BST.

States police are investigating the stabbing.
A 28-YEAR-old man was stabbed three times yesterday afternoon in a serious assault near Howard Davis Park.
The victim was badly injured during the incident on Belvedere Hill, St Saviour, and was rushed to hospital after losing a large amount of blood.
He received stab wounds to the chest, back and neck, and it is understood that one of his arteries was severed.
The police would not confirm what sort of weapon was used but it is believed that a penknife may have been used. The victim is now recovering in hospital after surgery last night and is said to be in a comfortable and stable condition.
