Fruits (and vegetables) of a good growing season

RJAHS summer flower show.

MORE than 1,000 people turned out for the RJAHS Summer Flower show at the weekend.

They were there to see the floral and vegetable displays as growers showed the profits of a good growing season.

Horticultural secretary Pam Laurens said that they were pleased with the standard of produce on show.

‘It was better than it has been in the last few years,’ she said.

There were 264 classes in total, ranging from floral, fruit, vegetables and floral arrangements.
