Quérée chases his dream in the USA

MURATTI defender James Quérée is pursuing his dream of becoming a professional footballer in the United States of America.
The former AFC Bournemouth player and Jersey under-21 captain is on a four-year scholarship at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The 19-year-old, who had an excellent debut in the senior Muratti in Guernsey in May, is to play at the top level in university football and train every day – sometimes twice a day.
The Channel Islands championship winner with St Paul’s last season said: ‘The idea is to have one last opportunity of playing football at a high level on a daily basis and to keep in touch with the dream of hopefully one day playing professionally.’
