Stevens super show not enough
Thursday 27th August 2009, 2:59PM BST.

Ben Stevens.
LEFT-ARM spinner Ben Stevens was in top form yesterday as Jersey Under-17s defeated Oxfordshire by 43 runs in the Standard Bank U16 County Festival at Les Quennevais.
Stevens returned the hugely impressive figures of six wickets for ten runs in ten overs to help restrict Oxfordshire to 128 all out chasing 171 for victory.
Stevens at one stage had five wickets for three runs and he delivered six maidens including four wicket maidens.
However, despite Jersey’s second win in three matches in their group they narrowly failed to reach the main competition semi-finals. Jersey, Surrey and Sussex all finished with eight points but, on runs scored and wickets lost, Jersey missed out by 0.7 to Sussex.
